Behandling av limfargedekor 2020-2023. A 117 Tylldalen kirke, Tynset kommune, Innlandet (2. utgave)

Abstract

NIKU behandlet limfargedekor Tylldalen kirke innenfor NIKUs rammeavtale med Riksantikvarens i 2020-2024. Tilstand på limfargen i skipet og på korskillet var dårlig, med behov for behandling. Det var satt opp testfelt med ulike typer konsolideringsmidler i himlingen i 2019. Skriftfeltet på korskillets side mot skipet var i svært dårlig stand og med behov for behandling så raskt som mulig. Skriftfeltet ble derfor «nød-konservert» i 2020 og videre konsolidert og retusjert i 2022. Konservering og retusjering av himlingen i skipet ble utført i 2021-2023. Rapporten er en samlerapport for arbeid utført på limfargedekoren på himling og korskille i skipet i Tylldalen kirke i perioden 2020–2023.

NIKU treated the distemper paint decorations in Tylldalen Church within NIKU's framework agreement with the Directorate of cultural heritage in 2020-2024. The condition of the distemper paint in the nave ceiling and on the rood screen side towards the ship was poor and in need of treatment. Tests with various types of consolidation agents was set up in the ceiling in 2019. The paint on the central motif - a script field - on the rood screen was in very poor condition and in urgent need of treatment and was therefore "emergency-conserved" in 2020. Further consolidation and retouching was done in 2022. Conservation and retouching of the ceiling in the nave was carried out in 2021-2023. The report is a summary report of work carried out on the distemper paint decoration on the ceiling and rood screen in the nave in Tylldalen church in the period 2020–2023.
